Off-Road Endurance & Team Race
The Friends of Fasst 440 is a unique event that brings together friends and family in a relaxed racing atmosphere for 400 minutes of Fun, followed by 40 minutes of Fury on the popular Mesquite MX Grand Prix Course. (approx 6 miles)
That’s right...All teams race for 400 minutes with only 15 teams qualifying for 40 minutes of Fury. This one-of-a-kind event allows for a relaxed yet competitive atmosphere for the first 400 minutes. At the completion of the 400 minutes the top 10 "4-man" teams & the
top 5 "2-man" teams will restart for 40 minutes of fury competing for BIG MONEY
TEAMS:
2 Racers, 4 Racers, Single Races & 85cc/Supermini
Unlimited bikes, that’s correct…no need to abuse one bike
(see rules and class structure below)
THE 400:
Teams will compete for 400 minutes, switch riders as you like, no requirements on team tactics.
Riders may ride any machine 125cc and up for as many minutes/laps as they choose.

The only requirement is each team will be issued ONE MyLaps transponder to be switched between active riders on course.
At the completion of 400 minutes the checkers will fly, the top 10 "4-man" teams & the top 5 "2-man" teams will restart the “40”.
THE 40:
Teams qualifying for the “40” will be staged at the starting line, the start order will be determined by your finish position from the 400.
Each team member will complete one lap (approx. 10 minutes), pit stops are required with a transponder swap every lap. Each team member is required to race one full lap of the “40”.
The overall winning team will be determined at the completion of lap 4.

$200 Transponder Deposit Cash/Card (Includes up to four mounting brackets)
Fully refundable when returned at the end of the event.
Non-returned brackets $10 each.
(Note: We will use My Laps transponders. No rental fee will apply if you have your own a My Laps Transponder. (Required for all racers.)

BIKE NUMBERS:
• Your team will be assigned a Bike Number based on your racing category.
This is how we will be scored for the event.
• Bike #’s are distributed during Rider Check-In.
• You’ll receive matching sets of #’s to apply to the front number plates of each bike.
There is no extra cost for the numbers.
• Bikes on course without an assigned bike # will not be scored.
TRANSPONDERS:
We will be using MyLaps Transponders for this event.
• Each Team will receive 1 transponder and up to 4 mountain brackets depending on how
many riders are on your team.
• You will swap the transponder each time you switch to a new bike.
Bikes on course without a transponder will not be scored.
• There is a $200.00 deposit for the transponder. (cash or card).
The deposit is fully refundable when the transponder and mounting brackets are returned.
o Non returned brackets are $10/each.
• The transponder must be mounted on the brake side fork tube, just behind the # plate.
If it is not mounted correctly, it may result in an incorrect score.
Additional information will be given during Rider Check-in at the event.

RIDER CHECK-IN:
• Each rider must come to Rider Check-in to sign the participant waiver.
• You may designate someone to pick up bike #’s and transponders, but every participant
must sign the waiver.
